Alco built diesel locomotive, A1A-A1A class ARP-20, 2095 at Kotri Junction, Pakistan


2-of-6)  Diesel locomotive, A1A-A1A class ARP-20, 2095 at Kotri Junction, Pakistan, 18th December 1993.  Originally built by Alco in the 1950s, members of this class have been rebuilt with 2,000 HP engines in the 1970s.

5-of-6)  Out of service BESA (British Engineering Standards Association) "Standard Goods" class SGC 0-6-0 1225 (built by Vulcan Foundry 1911-2) at Kotri Junction locomotive shed, Pakistan, 18th December 1993.
The SGC class locomotives were originally built with saturated boilers but were later converted with superheated boilers giving them the very distinctive elbowed steam pipes.
